KAWARTHA LAKES-The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad says that a Federal Offender who went unlawfully at large on February 23, 2023, has been apprehended in Hamilton.
Michael Stamatakos was located and arrested by the Hamilton Police Service.
Stamatakos is currently serving a two (2) year sentence for: Arson-Damage to Property, Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance, Flight from Peace Officer, Utter Threat to Cause Death/Harm and Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
His whereabouts became unknown.
