Pontypool Resident Wins $250,000 Top Prize With Instant Jackpot

KAWARTHA LAKES-Annette Dukic of Pontypool is $250,000 richer after winning with INSTANT JACKPOT.

Dukic is a 54-year-old mother and said she is a regular lottery player and INSTANT JACKPOT is now one of her favourite games. “I thought I won $250 at first, but when I scanned the ticket and saw the extra zeroes appear, I was shocked!” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I didn’t believe it. I was so excited.”

Dukic says she called her husband right away from the store. “He didn’t believe me at first. And my kids were so excited when I told them.”

She said this win comes at the perfect time. “We just bought a new house, so we will put some toward the new mortgage and purchase anything we need,” she concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Corner Convenience on John Street in Pontypool.
