Charges Laid After Theft From Lindsay Business

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police were called to the parking lot of York Street business in Lindsay for a suspicious male allegedly observed exiting a work truck carrying a bag on Monday, January 9th, 2023 at 4:20AM.

Officers attended the area, with the assistance of a witness located and arrested the male who was found to be in possession of stolen property according to police.  31-year-old Mark English of Lindsay has been charged with theft under $5000 from a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and fail to comply with probation order X2.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on February 16, 2023.
