Police Investigating Theft Of 15 Catalytic Converters Over The Weekend

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough Police officers are investigating after a series of catalytic converter thefts were reported over the weekend.

In all 15 catalytic converters worth $15,000 were stolen from vehicles at several businesses in the Rye Street area, and Kingsway and Erskine Avenue area.  In two instances, a white SUV with two people in it was spotted entering the parking lots of the businesses according to police.

It’s believed the thefts happened sometime in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 11, 2022.
