Lindsay Man Charged With Impaired Driving In Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-A 52-year-old Lindsay man is facing an impaired driving charge after an incident early Saturday morning in Peterborough.

At approximately 2:00am on December 10, 2022, officers were called to the area of George Street and Westcott Street about a possible impaired driver.  Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old Lindsay man was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was issued a 90-day license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.

Peterborough Police no longer release the names of people charged.
