KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes firefighters and emergency services are on the scene of a fully engulfed house fire on Washburn Island Road.
The call came in around 11:30 am. When crews arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames. Five trucks are currently battling the blaze.
It is unknown if anyone was home at the time the fire broke out. The OPP says no one was injured and the fire has been deemed non-suspicious.
Washburn Island Road at Hillside is blocked by fire crews.
