Haliburton Highlands OPP Asking Residents To Check Properties For Missing Man

KAWARTHA LAKES-Police are asking community members, especially those who own rural and seasonal properties to check them for Joseph McGee or his motor vehicle, a dark green Subaru Outback, with Ontario plate BTSY 146.

Members from the Haliburton Highlands OPP continue to search for 89-year-old Joseph McGee of Minden Hills Township. He is described as male, white, 5’10”, approximately 180lbs, balding, with short grey hair and beard, and blue eyes.

He is possibly wearing black boots with no laces, blue jeans, a white sweatshirt with the word “cutty” on the chest, a blue collared shirt underneath, a blue fleece jacket with a gold band across the chest, and an Ottawa Senators ball cap.

He was last seen driving a dark green Subaru Outback with Ontario plate BTSY 146 on December 3, 2022, in the Minden area.

Police are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of the missing male or his vehicle, since December 3, 2022, to contact the Haliburton Highlands OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
