WARNING ENDED: Snow Squall Watch Upgraded To Warning For Fenelon Falls, Northern Kawartha Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Snow Squall Watch has been upgraded to a Warning for parts of Kawartha Lakes.

Snow squall warning in effect for:

  • Fenelon Falls – Balsam Lake Park – Northern Kawartha Lakes

Significant lake effect snow squalls are expected to return tonight with additional local snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm by Sunday morning. Visibilities may be reduced to near zero in heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations.
