Charges Laid After Store Clerk Allegedly Threatened

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing charges after a store clerk was allegedly threatened.

Police say on November 14, 2022 at 9:11PM Kawartha Lakes Police responded to an alarm at a Lindsay Street South business. When they arrived, officered were told that an unwanted customer had threatened the store employee. Officers searched the area, located and arrested the suspect.

79-year-old Doug Allen of Lindsay has been charged with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on December 22, 2022.
