100 Women Who Care Kawartha Lakes Donates Almost $14,000 To Trish’s Wish Foundation

KAWARTHA LAKES-100 Women Who Care Kawartha Lakes presented a donation in the amount of $ 13,900.00 to Trish’s Wish Foundation on Friday November 4th 2022.
Trish’s Wish Foundation is a not-for-profit charity that provides support and financial assistance, to families residing in the City of Kawartha Lakes, that are in crisis as a result of a serious illness or injury to a family member who is between the ages of 17 and 25.
Trish’s Wish says they plan to use the donation to purchase special medical equipment and assistive devices not covered by health benefit plans.  They also provide respite care as well as help cover expenses such as transportation costs for those in need.
Since 2016, 100 Women Kawartha Lakes has raised over $300,000.00 to assist local charities serving the City of Kawartha Lakes.
