KAWARTHA LAKES-Approximately 2,700 Hydro One customers will experience an outage as crews complete upgrades and maintenance on Sunday, October 30 from 9am to 5pm.
This outage affects addresses in and surrounding Kirkfield. Affected customers have been notified and can visit the outage map (available on www.hydroone.com and as a mobile app) or call 1-888-664-9376 for more information.
Planned power outages allow Hydro One crews to safely complete work on their system. Crews will be replacing poles and installing two smart switches, which is equipment that can be remotely operated to reduce the number of customers affected by a power outage.
