Community Rallying Around Omemee Family Who Lost Everything In House Fire

KAWARTHA LAKES-A fundraising campaign has been set up for an Omemee family who lost everything in a house fire on Tuesday.

According to a Go Fund Me account, the Blondin Family and their pets were not injured. The Blondin family are active in the community, reviving Omemee Days and donating to many events.

“We would like to make their lives a little bit easier at this time. They are a wonderfully kind family who has always put others first. Please share and help donate. Thank you all for helping if you’re able.”

So far more than $2,700 has been raised.
