KAWARTHA LAKES-This afternoon the OPP issued an alert for some residents of northern Ontario.
The OPP says it is investigating an armed and dangerous person in Wikwemikong First Nation. Officers request that members of the general public shelter in place, lock all doors and windows and notify police immediately of any suspicious person.
The alert is for residents of Manitoulin, Parry Sound, Sudbury, Greater Sudbury and Algoma.
