Cops Called To Corral Cow On Colborne Street In Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-Graham Booth had just finished getting his child on the bus when he spotted a cow snacking on the grass in front of a home on the corner of Albert and Colborne Street in Fenelon Falls.

It happened just before 9am this morning. Booth says after finishing her snack the cow wandered over to the church. Possibly on her way to visit friends at the Cow and Sow Eatery just down the road?

The OPP was called in to help corral the cow which took about an hour and a half according to witnesses. Officers cornered the cow to keep it from moving further downtown until the farmer arrived and took it home according to police.

No injuries were reported although the cow missed her lunch date with friends.
