Disturbance At Social Housing Complex In Lindsay Results In Charges

KAWARTHA LAKES-Multiple reports of a disturbance at Devan Court in Lindsay has resulted in charges.

Police say multiple calls were made about a male aggressively confronting individuals in the area on Friday, September 2. During a confrontation, the male allegedly made threats toward another individual and was subsequently arrested by police.

52-year-old Maurizio Rotondi of Lindsay has been charged with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm. 

On September 3, 2022 the Kawartha Lakes Police were called back to Devan Court for a report of an unwanted person. When police arrived, they say they located the accused banging on the door of a residence. During the investigation, police observed liquid sprayed on the door and window of the residence and as a result, Rotondi has been charged with mischief. 

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on October 13, 2022.
