Peterborough Police Officer Cuts Grass For Elderly Resident Recovering From Medical Procedure

PETERBOROUGH-A Peterborough Police Officer is being praised for helping an ailing elderly resident.

Police say the officer was conducting a well-being check on a 76-year-old resident. During the conversation the officer learned the resident had recently undergone a medical procedure and was distraught they weren’t able to cut their lawn.

The officer took the time to cut the lawn and the resident was grateful for the assistance the the compassion according to police.

A photo of the officer hard at work with lawnmower in hand was shared on facebook and has received almost 1,000 likes and 117 comments.
