Police Investigating After Two Men Wearing Masks Attempt To Steal A Vehicle In Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-Some scary moments for a Peterborough driver.

Peterborough Police officers were called to the area of George Street North and Parkhill Road At approximately 10:30pm on August 9.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two men with masks attempted to take a vehicle from a parking lot according to police.  The owner of the vehicle returned to it and a scuffle ensued before the two men fled the area in a black SUV.

The victim did not wish medical attention.

It was further learned that the alleged suspect vehicle, a black Mazda CX3 was reported stolen in Peterborough on August 2nd and that it was also connected to a hit and run incident in London, Ontario on August 8, 2022.
