KLPS Investigating What Appears To Be A Well Planned Break And Enter At A Lindsay Business

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating a break and enter to an Albert Street South business.

Police say at 6:59am on Monday June 27, 2022, a vehicle described as a dark coloured, Kia sport utility vehicle pulled into the parking lot, the driver exited the vehicle and smashed the glass out of the front door. Two passengers exited the vehicle, removing a large recycle bin with wheels from the rear compartment and entered the store according to police. While inside they loaded the bin with items before fleeing when an audible alarm sounded.

This incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Branch of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call police at 705.324.5252.
