OPP Looking To Identify Individual In Connection With Jewelry Theft From Bancroft Business

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a theft from a Bancroft area business.

The Bancroft OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a theft from a business on Hastings Street North in the Town of Bancroft. The theft of jewelry occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m. on May 22, 2022. Investigators want to talk to the individual captured on video surveillance in the store.

This person is described as male, medium build. He was wearing a burgundy top, baseball hat and a bandana covering his face.

Any person with information regarding the person in the photos should contact the Bancroft OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
