Police and fire crews were called to the scene along the Scugog River sometime between 2 and 4 am.

The fire appears to have travelled from the electrical box on the side of the gazebo and up through the roof. Fire Chief Terry Jones told Kawartha 411 that the cause has been deemed electrical.
