KAWARTHA LAKES-An Omemee resident is facing impaired driving charges after a report from the public.
Police say on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 6:38pm the Kawartha Lakes Police received a report of a vehicle that was being operated by a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and stopped it on Greenfield Road in Lindsay. During the investigation, the officer determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and placed him under arrest according to police.
34-year-old Cody Woodcock of Omemee has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus and, one Highway Traffic Act infraction.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 21, 2022.Â
