KAWARTHA LAKES-The Ken Reid Conservation Area is a wonderful place for a spring outing. With a beach, picnic area, Howler’s Corners off-leash park and plenty of trails, it has something to offer to all activity levels. Though it is just on the northern edge of Lindsay, Ken Reid is home to much biodiversity and has a lot to offer nature enthusiasts. It seems like every visit to Ken Reid brings something new. There is always something interesting to see from the McLaren’s Creek Bridge and you never know what is around the next corner…
