Peterborough Resident Charged With Sexually Assaulting A Family Member

PETERBOROUGH-A 58-year-old Peterborough man is facing a number of sexual assault charges.

Earlier this year, officers with the Sex Crimes Unit were made aware of a series of ongoing alleged sexual assaults between the victim and a family member.

As a result of the investigation, a 58-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:

  • Sexual Interference
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching
  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Sexual Assault

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 16, 2022.

In order to protect the identity of the victim in this case, the name of the accused will not be released.
