Omemee Resident Wins Almost $400,000 With LOTTO MAX

KAWARTHA LAKES-Stephanie Tennant of Omemee has $373,118.20 to put toward her dreams after winning a LOTTO MAX second prize in the April 1, 2022 draw. She also won $20 on another one of her LOTTO MAX selections bringing her total winnings to $373,138.20.

Stephanie, 33, said when she saw an email that said she was a winner, she didn’t know if it was real. “I was in disbelief,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “When I told my boyfriend and mom, they didn’t believe me because the draw was on April Fools’ Day!”

Stephanie said she can’t quite describe the winning feeling. “It’s unbelievable – dreams do come true,” she smiled.

She plans to use her winnings toward a new car, a motorcycle and put some into her house.

The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
