KAWARTHA LAKES-Thick black smoke can be seen for miles as fire crews respond to a fully engulfed building fire on Bridle Road just outside of Lindsay this afternoon.

It happened at approximately 2pm on the corner of Bridle Road and Little Britain Road and the building, which witnesses say is a shop, is fully engulfed in flames.

There’s no word yet on damages or the cause of the fire.
