Police Investigating Purse Snatching In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating a purse snatching in Lindsay.

On Sunday, May 1 at 2:48pm, the Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a call on Kent Street West for a robbery. Police say a female had exited a business and was walking on Kent Street West when a male on a bicycle pulled her purse off her shoulder and fled the area.

The suspect is described as male, white, medium build, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a black hat with ear flaps and a beige-coloured plaid jacket. Police recovered the victim’s purse in the area of the Wellington Street bridge.
