28-Year-Old Woman Charged With Impaired Driving On Highway 115

PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver on Highway 115 at approximately 7:45pm on April 29, 2022. The vehicle was located on Neal Drive and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol according to police.

28-year-old Olivia Boka of Asphodel-Norwood Township, has been charged with:

• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on May 31, 2022.

The Peterborough County OPP reminds motorists to plan ahead when consuming alcohol. Use a designated driver, cab, public transit, or stay overnight. Any amount of alcohol or drugs can impact your ability to make sound judgements.
