KAWARTHA LAKES-Dunsford native Jon Thurston won a bronze medal at the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing.

On this edition of the Sunday Drive we met Jon at Laura Thurston-Campbell Park in Dunsford. Jon talks about what it’s like to be an Olympic medalist and the challenges he has overcome to get to the podium. Watch video below!

Next Jon will spend the summer on the water, competing all over North America in Adaptive Wakeboarding.
