Winter Weather Travel Advisory Issued For Monday Morning

KAWARTHA LAKES-Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Monday Morning.

Weather advisory in effect for:

  • Apsley – Woodview – Northern Peterborough County
  • Fenelon Falls – Balsam Lake Park – Northern Kawartha Lakes

Snow beginning Monday morning with total accumulations of 6 to 12 cm by Monday evening.

Snow will begin from west to east early Monday morning. Total amounts of 6 to 12 cm are expected by the time the snow tapers off Monday evening.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
