KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP arrested a driver after a demand was made to provide a sample into an approved screening device.
Police say shortly before 7:00pm on February 24, 2022, officers received a report of a driver who appeared to be drinking in their vehicle, in a parking lot off of Lindsay Street in Fenelon Falls. Officers located the vehicle with its driver and demanded a breath sample according to police.
As a result of the investigation, Christopher Lamb, 42 years-of-age, of Verulam Township, has been charged with:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Driving while under suspension
- Having care or control of a motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor.
The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days and the accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay, on March 17, 2022.
