KAWARTHA LAKES-A 19-year-old Cardiff man is facing a number of charges after incidents over the past several weeks.
Peterborough Police executed a search warrant at a home in the City of Kawartha Lakes and arrested the accused on warrants for dangerous operation x2, flight from police officer X2, possession of property obtained by crime, and failing to comply with undertaking X2.
The accused was wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle from a dealership in the City of Kawartha Lakes on January 13, 2022 according to police.
In two instances, officers spotted the vehicle in Peterborough, but the driver fled.
The accused was also wanted on warrants in several other jurisdictions.
As per the new Peterborough Police policy no name was released.
