Four People Taken To Hospital After Multi-Vehicle Collision On Highway 35

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP are currently investigating a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 35 in Ops Township.

On January 14, 2022, shortly after 10:00 a.m., members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP and emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 35 at River Road. Four people were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for approximately four and a half hours for the police investigation.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is requesting any witnesses who have information about this collision, or dash camera footage, to call the Detachment at (705) 324- 6741 or 1-888-310-1122.
