Suspect Sought After Armed Bank Robbery In Peterborough

KAWARTHA LAKES-Peterborough Police are seeking the public’s assistance after an armed robbery at a downtown bank Monday morning.

At approximately 10:45am on January 10, 2022, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a robbery in which a firearm had been pointed at employees before the suspect fled.  Officers and K-9 searched the area however, the suspect was not located.

No one was physically injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as:

  • Early 20’s
  • Large build with brown skin tone
  • Brown eyes
  • White t-shirt with graphic of a bird
  • Black coat with a hood
  • Light-coloured jeans
  • A white mask over top of a black mask
  • Tattoo on back of left hand
