Municipal Pools In Kawartha Lakes Temporarily Closed

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes says it is temporarily closing pools and cancelling all aquatic programming at the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool effective Sunday January 2, 2022 to Saturday January 8, 2022.

The municipality says it took this step to protect the health of staff and patrons but did not provide any further information. Any registrations for drop-in public swim programs during this time period will be cancelled and refunds will be issued automatically to registered participants.  Drop-in public swim programs are scheduled to resume on Sunday January 9, 2022.

Registered aquatic programs (swim lessons and aquafit classes) scheduled to start the week of January 3, 2022 will be delayed one week and now start the week of January 10, 2022.  The session end date will be extended one week to make up the missed class.
