OPP Vehicle Enters The Ditch Near Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-An OPP vehicle has been involved in a single-vehicle collision near Lindsay.

It happened this morning on Killarney Bay Road. Witnesses say the vehicle crossed the centre line and entered the ditch after hitting a soft shoulder. The officer kept driving, coming to rest when the vehicle became entangled in a farmers fence according to those who live in the area. Residents say another officer and tow truck driver had to cut the fence to remove the vehicle.

There’s no word on a cause or injuries.

We have contacted Kawartha Lakes OPP for more information but have not yet heard back.

Clarification: Another officer allegedly helped cut the fence.
