KAWARTHA LAKES-A Go Fund Me campaign has been set up to help the family of Constable Mike Broderick.
Constable Broderick died at the Kawartha Lakes Police station on November 5th. He had been with KLPS since 2009 and was working in the uniform division. Police have not released any details on the circumstances surrounding his death.
The campaign was initiated by Joe Bell the President of the Lindsay Police Association.
“Mike served his community as a Kawartha Lakes Police Officer with honour and distinction for 12 years,” states the campaign page. “Now, we as a community must come together to support a family who has given so much.”
The Lindsay Police Association says it is seeking donations that will be used to support Constable Broderick’s wife Erin and daughter Maggie through this difficult time, and in the future.
