KAWARTHA LAKES-One person is facing charges after allegedly filing a false report of a missing child.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a report of a missing child in Pontypool today. Police say the investigation revealed that the report was false and a child was not missing.
One individual was arrested at the scene for outstanding warrants by Peel Regional Police and has been place in their custody according to police.
Police have not released the name of the accused.
