Impaired Driving Charge Laid After Parked Car Struck In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 34-year-old Lindsay man is facing an impaired driving charge after a parked vehicle was stuck in Lindsay.

Police say on Friday October 22, 2021 at 11:48pm, officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on King Street in Lindsay. During the investigation, officers say they learned that a vehicle was travelling eastbound on King Street when it struck a vehicle parked on the south side of the street.

34-year-old Angus Howie of Lindsay has been charged with operation while impaired – drug or alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). 

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West on December 2, 2021.
