Ontario’s Digital Coronavirus Passport App Now Available For Download

KAWARTHA LAKES-The province of Ontario released it’s COVID-19 digital passport app today.

The App is called Verify Ontario and is scheduled to come into use on October 22. It will be officially unveiled at a press conference scheduled for Friday. The app is for businesses to scan customer QR codes of residents who are fully vaccinated. The QR codes for the app are not yet available.

Once the app becomes live residents will still have the opinion of showing their paper vaccination receipts.
