KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service will host a public information session on Thursday October 14, 2021, to discuss concerns which have been brought to their attention by members the community.
Police say the goal of this meeting is to engage in a “positive and productive” conversation with the community while working to develop feasible solutions to community concerns around crime, public disorder and neighbourhood safety. Officials say these concerns are not isolated to one neighbourhood.
Presenters will explain the programs, procedures and protocols that guide local services in their response to community concerns. You will hear from our elected officials, police and professionals in the fields of housing, addictions and mental health.

This information session will open with a facilitated panel discussion, followed by a question-and-answer session.
The session will be held from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Victoria Park Armoury in Lindsay.
