Charges Laid In Four Vehicle Crash Last April That Left Two People Seriously Injured

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP have laid charges in connection to a serious four-vehicle collision that occurred on April 20, 2021.

The collision which occurred on Highway 35 in OPS Township sent three people to hospital; with two sustaining serious injuries.

As a result of the investigation a 30-year-old driver has been charged with Carless Driving – cause bodily harm and Driver- fail to properly wear seatbelt.  No name was released.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on October 19, 2021.
