Police Investigating After Local Parks Damaged

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are investigating after several acts of mischief to local parks have reportedly occurred between Friday, October 1 and Monday, October 4, 2021. Damage has occurred at the following locations;

  • Memorial Park – Lindsay Street South 
  • Logie Street Park – Logie Street 
  • Rivera Park – St Paul Street  
  • Victoria Park – Victoria Street

It has been reported that unknown individuals have damaged, trains, washroom facilities and brickwork at these locations. 

The washrooms at Logie Park and Rivera Park in Lindsay are closed.

Police are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who has information regarding these criminal acts. Anyone with information is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service at 705.324.5252. The municipal dock in Burnt River is currently not accessible due to damage as well.
