Port Perry Man Charged With Possession Of Cocaine After Traffic Stop In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 23-year-old Port Perry man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Lindsay.

Police say on August 31, 2021 at 12:33pm, City of Kawartha Lakes Police officers conducted a traffic stop on William Street North in Lindsay. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed two glass tubes in the center console of the vehicle which are often used as pipes to smoke crack cocaine according to police. After further investigation the driver was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine.

23-year-old Dylan Roncetti of Port Perry is charged with possession of a scheduled I substance. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on October 14, 2021.
