Youth Taken To Toronto Hospital After Dirt Bike Collision Near Bobcaygeon

KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were called to a single motor vehicle collision involving a dirt bike in Verulam Township.

Police say on August 20, 2021, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers responded to a dirt bike collision on Crane Bay Road. A youth was observed colliding with trees in a ditch on a dirt bike.

The 14-year-old driver, who was wearing his helmet at the time of the collision, was transported by City of Kawartha Lakes EMS with serious injuries to a Toronto-area hospital.
