KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the public are invited to join Council and the Lindsay Sports Hall of Fame at 1pm on Saturday August 21 for a recognition event celebrating Kawartha Lakes Olympic athletes.
The celebration will include a gathering at Victoria Park in Lindsay to celebrate four incredibly talented athletes who represented Kawartha Lakes at the Tokyo Olympics.
Siblings Claire and Emma Wright (Lindsay) competed in water polo, Olivia Apps (Lindsay) played for the sevens rugby team and Jill Moffatt (Bethany) competed on our rowing team.
