Impaired Driving And Drug Charges Laid After Concerned Citizen Reports Man Passed Out behind The Wheel In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Fenelon Falls man is facing charges after a concerned resident reported a man passed out in a vehicle in a Lindsay parking lot.

Police say On Tuesday August 10, 2021, at 7:45pm, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call from a concerned citizen. Officers located the alleged vehicle and while speaking with the driver observed signs of impairment and placed him under arrest according to police.

37-year-old Jeffrey Berry of Fenelon Falls has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and possession of a controlled substance. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on September 16, 2021.
