Two Sisters From Lindsay Make The Olympic Women’s Water Polo Team

KAWARTHA LAKES-Two sisters from Lindsay are heading to the Tokyo Olympics.

Emma Wright, Co Captain and her older sister, goalkeeper Claire both grew up and Lindsay and graduated from LCVI. Both made the olympic women’s water polo team. The team was announced this morning.

It’s the first time since 2004 that Canada has qualified a women’s water polo team for the Olympic Games.

They’re currently training in Greece, then will travel to Hungary for common training with the Hungarian national team and then off to Morioka, Japan, to acclimate for Tokyo according to CBC News.
