Frost Advisory Issued For Kawartha Lakes And Peterborough

KAWARTHA LAKES-Environment Canada has issued a Frost Advisory for Kawartha lakes.

Frost advisory in effect for:

  • Apsley – Woodview – Northern Peterborough County
  • Fenelon Falls – Balsam Lake Park – Northern Kawartha Lakes
  • Lindsay – Southern Kawartha Lakes
  • Peterborough City – Lakefield – Southern Peterborough County

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Temperatures have fallen more than expected this evening across much of southern Ontario and the frost advisory has been extended as a result. Temperatures are expected to drop near or below the freezing mark overnight.

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.
