Lindsay Man Facing Drug Charge After Police Called To Break And Enter In Progress

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 29 year old Lindsay man is facing drug charges after police were called to a break and enter in progress.

Police say on Monday April 19, 2021 at 11:53pm, City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service were called to a break and enter in progress at a Wellington Street address in Lindsay. Officers located the suspect on the porch and during the investigation became aware he was wanted on a warrant.

The suspect was arrested by the investigating officer, and was found in possession of fentanyl according to police.

29-year-old Colin Martin of Lindsay is charged with failing to attend court and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay.
