Coronavirus Outbreak Declared At St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit has declared a Coronavirus outbreak at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in Lindsay.

According to the Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic School Board there is one case at the school. There’s no indication if it is a student or staff member.

There is also one confirmed student case of the virus at Mariposa Elementary School.

11 new cases of Coronavirus are being reported in Kawartha Lakes over the last two days. There are currently 46 active cases of Coronavirus in Kawartha Lakes. At total of 672 cases have been reported in Kawartha Lakes since the start of the pandemic and 583 of those are considered resolved.
